Sandgate! Full of gems: 4017, Full Moon, The Brighton, The Seaview, the RSL, Sonomas, Il Forno, La Festa, 3 fish and chip shops, a bunch of cafes and all the necessities (Woolies, hardware store, post office, pharmacies etc) within walking distance. Lots of buses and trains servicing the area. Best of all it’s close enough to the city to still maintain a decent night-life, but it’s quiet and peaceful and the views of Bramble Bay are amazing.
