  1. I should say New Farm (as my centre is based here!) but I like Woolloongabba – don’t ask me why, I just do! Though, from the comments here, I must check out Wooloowin! :)

  2. Spot on Chrissie! Wooloowin is the best suburb in Brisbane. Beautiful QLDer homes, established greenery and welcoming, friendly neighbours. Sophisticated area but not snobbsville like neighbouring suburbs may potentially be like.

  3. Wooloowin, as it has beautiful parklands, great walks along the edge of creeks that rumble and tumble and very very close to the City. Wooloowin has many wonderful Cafes, including the Amazing ‘Coffee Guy’ just down the street from us. The homes are mainly of the Queenslander type so style is awesome but yet not too snobby. Also, fanatastic, friendly and great neighbours! Wooloowin Rocks!

  4. Paddington, Red Hill, Paddington. History, beauty, proximity, style, views, restaurants, nightlife, people, atmosphere. There is no competition.

  5. Sandgate! Full of gems: 4017, Full Moon, The Brighton, The Seaview, the RSL, Sonomas, Il Forno, La Festa, 3 fish and chip shops, a bunch of cafes and all the necessities (Woolies, hardware store, post office, pharmacies etc) within walking distance. Lots of buses and trains servicing the area. Best of all it’s close enough to the city to still maintain a decent night-life, but it’s quiet and peaceful and the views of Bramble Bay are amazing.
