South Bank…it has the pools, the city background and the brisbane river
Has to be the Kangaroo point cliffs at sunset. The Yachts in the river really give the city a soul.
The best place to do this in Brisbane is Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary where they have a whole paddock full of kangaroos and wallabies. You can hand feed them and most don’t mind a pat. Great Place to capture the lovely Kangaroos.
there’s a neat hill on Swann Rd in Taringa that overlooks the city – great for taking night shots
I agree that Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is a great place for photos especially if you want to photograph native animals. The light in the late afternoon is beautiful.
For city photos, try Wilson Outlook a little park on Bowen Terrace, New Farm which has uninterrupted views of the Story Bridge and City. The Story Bridge itself is a good spot for photos too. The City Botanic Gardens have lots of good vantage points for photography.
Redcliffe… the bridge during sunset is beautiful.
