Where are the best places in Brisbane to take photos?


There’s many scenic locations to take pretty Brisbane photographs. Even if you’re on a road trip instead of shooting photos for a hobby, there’s heaps of spots near the CBD and outer suburbs.

  1. I agree that Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is a great place for photos especially if you want to photograph native animals. The light in the late afternoon is beautiful.

    For city photos, try Wilson Outlook a little park on Bowen Terrace, New Farm which has uninterrupted views of the Story Bridge and City. The Story Bridge itself is a good spot for photos too. The City Botanic Gardens have lots of good vantage points for photography.

  3. The best place to do this in Brisbane is Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary where they have a whole paddock full of kangaroos and wallabies. You can hand feed them and most don’t mind a pat. Great Place to capture the lovely Kangaroos.
