Where are the best places in Brisbane to take photos?

There’s many picturesque places to take pretty Brisbane photographs. Even if you’re on a road trip rather than taking photos for a hobby, there’s many locations near the CBD and outer suburbs.

  1. I agree that Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is a great place for photos especially if you want to photograph native animals. The light in the late afternoon is beautiful.

    For city photos, try Wilson Outlook a little park on Bowen Terrace, New Farm which has uninterrupted views of the Story Bridge and City. The Story Bridge itself is a good spot for photos too. The City Botanic Gardens have lots of good vantage points for photography.

  2. there’s a neat hill on Swann Rd in Taringa that overlooks the city – great for taking night shots

  3. The best place to do this in Brisbane is Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary where they have a whole paddock full of kangaroos and wallabies. You can hand feed them and most don’t mind a pat. Great Place to capture the lovely Kangaroos.
