What do you wish you’d appreciated more in Brisbane before it disappeared?

Yes, progress marches on. Which means plenty of things have gone by the wayside in Brisbane over the years.

And you know what they say – you don’t know what you’ve got till its gone. So what do you wish you’d taken the time to appreciate more in Brisbane before it disappeared?

Was there an awesome restaurant, a daggy tourist attraction, or an annual event that you wish was still around? Maybe something was torn down in Brisbane that you wish you could go back and appreciate a bit more.

Of course, there’s plenty of shops which have closed down over the years – especially Brisbane’s many book and record stores. Are there any in particular which you really miss?

    Before the criminal Clem Jones burnt the depot to the ground so he could bring in all those damn buses…and to think they named a bloody tunnel after that bastard!
