Everyone’s got their own opinion on what makes up the top suburbs in Brisbane. It could be great nightlife with bars and eateries – or perhaps a great neighbourhood to raise a family with a good primary school and community. Perhaps it’s simply the least expensive suburb to buy a flat in Brisbane today!

  1. I agree with Tony! The Southern Moreton Bay Islands are pretty sweet if you’re into nature and getting away from all the hustle and bustle :)

  2. The southern moreton bay islands (SMBI) … Russell, Macleay, Lamb & Karragarra Islands. Only 20 min by water taxi from Redland bay. A step back in time in a positive way, and affordable living. Great combination

  3. Paddington, Brisbane, great atmosphere, love the craft and antique shops. Love the local characters. Spoilt for coffee shops and absolutely convenient to live here.

  4. West End – diverse, friendly, strange, interesting, old, new, excellent food and music, on the river, close to the City.
